This Is What a Minister Looks Like

On Sunday, March 24, 2019 Erica Grace Saunders was ordained by Wake Forest Baptist Church in Wait Chapel on the campus of Wake Forest University. It was a glorious day, bright and sunshine-y.

Greetings were expressed by Pastor Lia, Paula Dempsey of the Alliance of Baptists, and José Villalba, chief diversity officer of WFU. Laura Wind, John Kernodle, Hope Peterson and Blake Tickle provided excellent music. Katherine Shaner brought the sermon, John Senior gave the charge to the ordinand. Special touches were offered by Erica’s friends who are family, and family who are friends. A reception was offered by the Congregational Care Council.

Thank you to all who participated.

This is what ministry looks like.
