Wake Forest Baptist Church has a rich history of progressive ministry. From fighting for Civil Rights in the 1950s and 1960s to advocating for Marriage Equality in the 2000s, this historical exhibit will showcase some of the church’s most historical events. You are invited to ‘drop in’ between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4th to view the exhibit along the back wall of Wait Chapel and join the church in reception in the Narthex. The exhibit will also open at 12:00 p.m. (two hours prior to the Celebration of Life service) on Saturday, November 5th.
The church would like to extend a special thank you to Tanya Zanish-Belcher, Director of Special Collections and University Archivist for Wake Forest University and the larger ZSR team for their help in curating this exhibit.
